DESCRIPTION:Call for Posters\nWe invite poster submissions for the 2nd ACM Celebration of Women in Computing in Africa (AfricaCWIC 2024) to be held at USIU-Africa in Nairobi\, Kenya on 20th September 2024. \nPosters will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts. An abstract should be a PDF not exceeding two single-spaced pages (including references) using 12-point Times New Roman font. Abstracts must be submitted by Friday\, 12 July 2024 via the Web submissions system. Do not email submissions. \nPosters will be selected on the following basis: \n\nSubmissions must describe new\, interesting work\, not previously presented.\nSubmissions should represent early work that has not yet been published in a refereed conference or journal.\nStudent submissions meeting the above criteria will be given preference; however\, abstracts from non-students are also welcome.\n\nProvide the following information in your PDF file: \n\nPoster title\nAuthor names\, affiliations\, and email addresses\nWhich authors\, if any\, are students\nAuthors will be notified of acceptance or rejection via email by Wednesday\, 31 July 2024. Send any questions about the poster session to Audrey Mbogho at ambogho AT usiu dot ac dot ke.\nIf your submission is accepted\, guidelines will be provided to you on how to format your poster.\nPosters will be presented in person.
